The night will begin at 6pm sharp with a series of mini-challenges and maths games suitable for students and parents alike. Meet the maths teachers as they lead you through various mathematical phenomena.

At 6:45 the event will move to the nearby Rhodes Theatre for more activities. The session will include a presentation from Barker teacher and researcher Ms Amy Young on the role of confidence in mathematics education and how this can be fostered at home and in the school classroom. Head of Mathematics, Mr Graham Hanlon, will also provide insights on how Barker mathematics is promoting confidence in Mathematics through a dedicated program designed to meet the needs of all levels of maths learners, including extension and enrichment opportunities.

This event is suitable for families of all ages.
